Well done to these World of Words (WOW) members at Cwmclydach Primary School and also the missing children who were not in as they were sadly struck by illness. Get well soon!
A lot of effort and application has been put into the WOW sessions by the youngsters in the classes and also within their reading and writing both in other school gatherings and at home.
This crew were rewarded with a selection of Christmas themed goodies and fun activities that will provide a lot of joy over the festive holidays.
The contingent had once again brought in some spirited research and stories on topics such as physical fitness, train journeys and the make up of snow. It is fantastic to witness that what is still alive and well is the trusted pen and paper. Adding to the ink there is a heavy dose of both imagination and innovation on an entertaining mix.
The discussion, debate, energy and enthusiasm within the weekly visits also points the way for a productive Spring 2025 term but for the Autumn 2024 meets ups there has been a great deal of positivity and productivity. Congratulations all and keep up the good work!
